When should I RSVP by?

Since this is a destination wedding, we are encouraging people to book flights, accommodations, etc early. We kindly ask that once you know if you will be able to come that you RSVP at that time, no later than June 1st, 2026 please! Keep in mind, the 2026 world Ironman competition is on the Big Island on October 10th, 2026 (1 week after our wedding), which may cause some rentals/hotels to book more quickly, so plan accordingly.

Where should I stay?

We will not be doing a hotel block because the best places to stay in Kona are Airbnb’s/VRBO’s. For reference, our venue is a set of beach houses 0.3 miles north of Da Poke Shack (a delicious poke stop). We recommend staying on the West side of the island for ease of travel to wedding events, but feel free to stay wherever suits your needs best!

Tell me more about this welcome brunch!

The welcome brunch on Friday is simply another event for us to see and spend time with all of our people who traveled so far to celebrate us! There will be light refreshments and pastries, and is intended to be a casual hang out! Stop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We are asking that everyone arrives by 2:45 PM on Saturday so all guests can be settled and seated for the ceremony which will start at 3:00 PM. Please give yourself enough time to park, mingle, and find a seat!

Can I bring my children?

Due to space limitations, we are only able to include children of the immediate family at our wedding events. We understand there may need to be some exceptions for our littlest guests, so please reach out to us if this is the case. Thanks for your understanding.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to limited space and the very intimate nature of our wedding, we are only able to accommodate those named on the invitation.

Is there parking on site?

There is a large driveway on site for parking. However, we do recommend using ride-share apps or car-pooling as there will be alcohol at the wedding and want all of our guests to have fun and get home safe. For those staying within walking distance, we encourage you to walk to and from the venue!

What is the dress code?

Our celebration will take place in a grassy area adjacent to the beach, so think elevated island style, classy but relaxed. For women: flowy dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates in breathable fabrics. Wedges or sandals are fine (feel free to leave your heels at home!) For men: lighweight suits, or dress pants with a linen shirt (short sleeve collard shirts or Hawaiian shirts are great!) Need some inspiration? Is it true that the reception ends at 8:45 pm?

Unfortunately, yes. Due to Hawaiian residential quiet hours beginning at 9 PM, we are asking everyone to leave at 8:45 PM to be respectful of our local neighbors. However, for anybody interested, we are planning to head to a local bar to continue celebrating! More details on this to come.
